MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) - An advocate for addicts. Non-profit Hearts for Hope and Healing is having a grand opening on Saturday at their facility in Raleigh.
Becky Farruggia founded Hearts for Hope and Healing a year ago, when she says she couldn't find help for her daughter who was hooked on heroin.
Farruggia says her daughter has been clean for five months thanks to the organization. The non-profit works closely with first responders and addiction campuses, so addicts have access to the resources they need to get clean and stay clean.
“We're gonna let God lead us and pray that it helps others and other families come forward and let everybody know that you're not alone. You are not alone,” says Farruggia.
The grand opening of Hearts for Hope and Healing will be Saturday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at 3900 New Covington Pike in Raleigh.
