Victim Identified & Suspect Charged In Deadly Shooting At Gas Station

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) - Memphis police have identified a man shot and killed Friday, January 13th near the Cypresswood neighborhood. A suspect has also been arrested and charged.

Adarrell Anderson, Jr., 23, was found shot next to a van by a gas pump at the Grizzly Mart.

It happened about 4:15 p.m. at store at Horn Lake and Shelby Drive. That's across the street from Geeter Middle School.

Police say Anderson was involved in an altercation with Kejuan King when he was shot.

King has been arrested and charged with second degree murder.

This is the 6th homicide in Memphis in 2016.
