Memphis Police Investigate Early Morning Double Shooting In South Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) - Memphis police are investigating a drive-by shooting in south Memphis. Three people were injured, two of them shot.

It happened just before 2:00 a.m. Friday in the 1100 block of Kerr. A victim told police the three were standing out front, when a dark vehicle with tinted windows drove by. She said the vehicle stopped as it passed Hemlock Street, and someone started shooting then sped off.

Two of the victims were taken to Regional One in critical condition. The other was cut up on her thigh.

No one is in custody. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH.
