MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) - Memphis Police have released video of the suspects in a smash and grab at the jewelry counter at Macy’s at Oak Court Mall.
Police say three suspects went to the men’s jewelry counter and smashed the glass with a sledgehammer, taking an undetermined amount of jewelry.
They ran out, and took off in a black Dodge Challenger with tinted windows and a temporary tag.
Police believe the same suspects may be behind a series of smash and grabs recently. Police say surveillance video caught four suspects entering both Oak Court and Wolfchase Galleria, targeting jewelry stores. In those thefts, the suspects got away in a black Dodge Challenger with tinted windows.
Anyone with information in these cases are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.
