MFD Says Vacant House Fire In Orange Mound Is Arson

MEMPHIS, Tenn (localmemphis.com) - Memphis fire investigators say a Thursday morning fire at a vacant house in Orange Mound was arson.

The Memphis Fire Department was called to the 2300 block of Douglass around 7:45 a.m. It took them about 15 minutes to get it under control. No one was hurt.

Total damage is estimated at $13,500. Investigators say the fire was set inside the back of the home.
