MPD Swarms South Memphis Home, Seizing Cars And Dogs

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) - Memphis Police officers and its organized crime unit spent several hours in a south Memphis neighborhood Thursday for an ongoing investigation. The raid happened in the 1100 block of Krayer, off of McLemore.

Several cars were told and several dogs were recovered and taken to Memphis Animal Services.

A person who said she lived at the home claimed she had no idea why officers searched inside and outside, taking lots of evidence in the process.

"I'm trying to find out the illegal stuff too," a person who lived at the home but didn't want to give her name said. "I came home from school to this."

Crime mapping in the area showed only a half dozen reported incidents in the last two months in the immediate area of that home.
