New "Discover-Read" Space At Parkway Village Library

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) - Thanks to a generous donor, a second Discover-Read space was created at another Memphis public library.

The new one is at the Parkway Village Library.

Discover-Read is an interactive literacy space for families. A spokesperson for the library system says the donor came to the library with trucks full of furniture and other items to create the space for kids.

The first space opened at the Crenshaw Library branch back in March.

At least nine more Discover-Read centers are being planned for Memphis public library branches. Two will be created next year one at the Benjamin L. Hooks main branch in May and one at the Hollywood branch in June.
