New Leads In Karen Swift Murder Investigation

DYER COUNTY, TN - New information about the search for a killer. Four years ago this month, Karen Swift was laid to rest.

The Dyersburg mother of four was found dead in a cemetery in Dyer County on December 10th 2011.

She disappeared weeks earlier after a Halloween party.

Investigators have hinted for years they're close to an arrest, but one has never materialized.

Local 24 spoke with Sheriff Jeff Box today. He said a number of people have recently come forward with new information and that the case is still active.

In fact, he says a detective works the case every day and that the case is not considered cold.
