Ole Miss Loses Third Straight, Falling to No. 12 Auburn 44-23

AUBURN, Al. - No. 12 Auburn led Ole Miss 35-3 at halftime and came out with a 44-23 win over the Rebels on Saturday afternoon.

Kerryon Johnson rushed for a career-high 204 yards and three touchdowns to help lead the Tigers (5-1, 3-0 SEC). 

The Rebels snapped a 10-quarter touchdown drought when Shea Patterson found D.K. Metcalf for a 9-yard score in the third quarter. Patterson completed 35 of 51 passes for 346 yards and two touchdowns, both to Metcalf. 

It's the second week in a row that Ole Miss (2-3, 0-2) got blown out. Following Saturday's loss, the university posted the official job listing for the position of head coach.
