MEMPHIS, TN -(localmemphis.com) - A brain-storming event to fight crime in the Mid-South was held Saturday
The organization, Goodie Nation, worked with member of the community to think of and implement ideas to make the Bluff City better.
They met at the civil rights museum to discuss ideas on how to keep crime down and people out of jail cells.
Organizers said this is possible if the right people put their heads together.
“We feel like everyone is able to solve community issues, bring them together and help them realize they have the resources in their own local communities. It's just bringing everyone together to bring those ideas through our innovative process, said Lori Walton, the operations manager at Goodie Nation.
Organizers said brain storming such ideas helps communities get better for generations to come.
