Police Investigating Man Shot On UofM Campus

MEMPHIS, Tenn (localmemphis.com) - A man was shot early Friday morning on the University of Memphis campus, police are looking for the shooter.

Just after 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a shooting at Patterson and DeSoto.  

Officers were told by the victim that between 1:20 and 1:30 he was shot by an unknown suspect after dropping off his girlfriend.  He says he pulled out from where he was parked to go south on Patterson when a black car drove by and fired several shots into his vehicle.

He was taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.

No arrests have been made.  This is an ongoing investigation.
