OXFORD, Miss. (localmemphis.com) - The Oxford, Mississippi, community has a brand-new hospital. A ribbon cutting was held Wednesday afternoon for the $300 million Baptist North Mississippi Hospital.

The building is five stories tall. To give you some perspective, that's three times larger than Grand Central Station.

It offers patients a larger emergency department, advanced medical technology, and large rooms.

The hospital officially opens Saturday, November 25th.
