Murder Suspect In Holly Springs Back In Custody

HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. (localmemphis.com) - U.S. Marshals have captured a 17-year-old murder suspect who reportedly cut off his ankle monitor.

James Anotino Sims, Jr. was recently released from the Marshall County jail on $50,000 bond for a murder charge. Police said he cut off his ankle monitor, and took off.

Police searched for Sims Wednesday, and that led to a precautionary lockdown at Holly Springs schools.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said Thursday morning that Sims has been caught and is back in custody.
