TBI Joins Investigation Into Double Shooting In Covington

COVINGTON, TENN (localmemphis.com) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has joined the Covington Police Department to investigate a double shooting Thursday. One person died, and another injured.

Investigators say a woman called 911 just after 6:00 p.m. from a home in the 1000 block of Douglas Road. She said three masked men entered her home and shot her husband. Officers nearby heard the shots and responded. They found another man lying in a nearby street.

The man, Armani Hall, was taken to Regional One, where he is being treated. The woman's husband, Timothy Edwards, died.

The investigation remains active and ongoing at this time.
