Speed Limits May Be Increased In Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (localmemphis.com) - You soon may be able to drive a little faster on highways in Arkansas.

A bill making its way the Arkansas legislature now would increase the speed limit on controlled-access highways to 75 miles per hour.

House Bill 2057, which is sponsored by Rep. DeAnn Vaught (R-AR 4th District), was unanimously passed with a 93-0 vote on Thursday and now goes to the Senate.
