"The Choice Bus" Rolls Into Shelby County Schools

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) - Having an education can make a huge difference in a student's life. Thursday, students from Whitehaven High School saw what that difference looks like on "The Choice Bus."

Students boarded the bus, which is half-prison cell - half-classroom, showing two different life perspectives.

They also saw that getting an education and graduating from college can earn a person at least a million dollars in their lifetime.

Friday, The Choice Bus will head to Booker T. Washington High School.

The bus is one of six ways the Mattie C. Stewart Foundation uses the teaching tool to decrease the drop-out rate in the U.S.
