Two Children Killed In Fire Sunday Night In Martin, TN

MARTIN, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) - An investigation is underway after two children were killed in a house fire Sunday night in Martin, Tennessee.

Martin Fire Chief Jamie Summers tells Local 24 they responded to the call about 9:25 p.m. When firefighters arrived, they found heavy flames on the lower floor of the home.

Once the fire was out, the firefighters found the two children on the second floor of the home.

Four people escaped the fire, but were unable to save the children.
