West Memphis Fire Perform "High Angle Rescue" At Industrial Facility

WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (localmemphis.com) - West Memphis fire crews have performed what they say is a "high angle rescue" at an industrial facility. A patient was taken to Regional One in Memphis.

At approximately 10:20AM, the West Memphis Fire Department received a call stating a man was injured at Razorback Concrete, 200 Afco Road.  When West Memphis Fire Department Paramedics arrived, they found the patient approximately 15 feet in the air on an elevated platform.  Special Operations Companies were assigned to the incident and responded to the scene.  The patient was packaged by West Memphis Fire Department personnel and successfully lowered to the ground. The patient was transported by our ambulance to Regional One Hospital in Memphis, TN.
