21 Indicted in Lauderdale County Cocaine Bust

RIPLEY, TN (abc24.com) - 21 suspects in Lauderdale County were indicted by a grand jury on drug charges, and all but two are in custody.

The suspects are charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine, and more than 500 grams of cocaine base (crack cocaine). The indictment states the drug ring operation goes back as far as January 2011.

The following suspects were named in the indictment: Anthony Nixon, aka "Dirt"; Eric Nixon; Derrick Dawson, aka "Big D"; Markee Barbee, aka "8 Ball"; David Willis, aka "Willie Boy"; Keithian Helm, aka "Killer"; James Whitelow, aka "Bo Rock"; Esiquiel Sanchez, aka "Ez"; Jim Roberson, aka "Jamal"; Decormic Moore, aka "Demo"; Jason Simmons, aka "Whiteboy"; Aundra Smith, aka "Dre"; John Wynn, Jr.; Louis Bonds, aka "Nick"; Ronald Mitchell, aka "Slick"; Shelton Bonds, aka "Danky"; Robert Lattimore, aka "Big Latt"; Lafredric Jones, aka "Lil Bull"; Cameron Smith, aka "Cam".

Two other suspects will not been named until they are in police custody.

If convicted, they each face 5-40 years behind bars.
