memphis police department needs to be investigated. what is being reported is not what i saw. listen to both sides before prejudging. the gentleman that recorded the altercation with his phone please take to news or post on tube. thank you

If I had to be 'patted down' just to patronize a business, I would not be spending any money there. Just another reason to AVOID memphis, particularly the downtown area......

Being that a good majority of people who go to Beale Street only go to stand on the actual street. It is ridiculous. You are now patted down to just walk onto the actual street. They should charge a cover to just get on Beale street and maybe the vast majority of folks who are only walking to be seen and stir trouble not to mention are def in the way will not go. The whole reason for Beale street is to attend the bars/music NOT to do flips or acrobats on the street!

Hmmmm! 4 Memphis cops hospitalized and I don't see a single bruise on either of these so-called brothers. The least the cops could have done was put a good ass-whoopin on them.
