MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - An accused rapist had a brief court appearance Thursday.
Anthony Alliano is accused of raping a Cordova woman at knife point in her home in 2010. Cops also claim to have surveillance video of him using her stolen credit card.
Alliano has already been ordered to take an HIV test, which is standard in rape cases. Police are now waiting for DNA test results to find out if he is responsible for five other rapes.
Alliano's attorney, Black Ballin, told abc24.com, "Obviously he's unhappy, there's a pending charge and in informal talks with prosecutors we believe there will be more charges on the way."
Alliano's next court date is May 15. He's currently being held on a $250,000 bond.
