Sorry, Cait72391, people have to EARN respect, and I have no respect for idiotic, right-wing Neocons. They have proven to be unworthy of such respect. If you want me to list the reasons I'll be happy to, but I believe you already know.

The War on Drugs failed $1 Trillion ago! This money could have been used for outreach programs to clean up the bad end of drug abuse by providing free HIV testing, free rehab, and clean needles. Harmless drugs like marijuana could be legalized to help boost our damaged economy. Cannabis can provide hemp for countless natural recourses and the tax revenue from sales alone would pull every state in our country out of the red! Vote Teapot, PASS IT, and legalize it. Voice you opinion with the movement and read more on my artist’s blog at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/01/vote-teapot-2011.html

Frayserrboi/ PennyPendleton: "Ad hominem fallacy"- an intentional effort to attack a person rather than an argument, by damaging the opponet's character or reputation or by engaging in name-calling and labeling. You both have every right to be entitled to your own opinions, but please consider that the oppsing side for which you are arguing is entitled to those same rights. If we lose respect for one another and start dehumanizing people with harsh generalizations and names, we will never be able to coexist.

Frayserrboi is your typical right winger: easily frightened and prone to hysteria. The constant stream of misinformation coming from him indicates a lack of knowledge or education. I cannot expect anything but superstition and fear to come from such a person. To these neocon conservatives, an education is seen as a disadvantage.

I can't believe that people are still this ignorant in this day and age. Kids can get pot a lot easier than they can get cigs or beer. Cigs and beer are both legal and WAY worse than pot, without question. Southern ignorance seems to always fight to not progress.

Actually marijuana does not kill brain cells it triggers the production of healthy, functional new brain cells a process known as adult hippocampal neurogenesis and the psychoactive ingredient THC is the best known preventive and remedy for Alzheimer's disease. Also binge drinkers who use marijuana have a significant reduction in the brain damage caused by alcohol! Alcohol actually does kill brain cells but marijuana protects brain cells, read "Marijuana Gateway to Health" or google "Maintaining Memories with Marijuana" and "Dean Ornish, marijuana, TED, brain health" to learn the truth about how using marijuana improves our health.

The opponents need to read the book "Marijuana Gateway to Health: How Cannabis Protects Us from Cancer and Alzheimer's Disease" because the scientific research from the past ten years has completely changed our understanding of how marijuana affects the human body, it benefits health by supplementing naturally occurring chemicals in our bodies with plant versions of those chemicals and what those chemicals do is to fight cancer and brain damage and generally optimize our state of health.

To bequeath the science through teaching is a craft of calm wisdom, intelligence and knowledge, something our dear Holli lacks all together. The hilarity of her idiotic comment is in the fact that each statement she makes is inaccurate and actually contradicts all well known scientific facts. What this sadly demonstrates is how intellectually impoverished our countryside educational facility is, if the average science teacher is so seriously misinformed.
