BYHALIA, MS (abc24.com) - The Marshall County Sheriff's Department was called to investigate the discovery of a body outside Byhalia.
The body of a 59-year-old man was found around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5 on the 400-block of Woodview Road in a residential area northwest of Byhalia. Investigators say a homeowner saw the body in a wooded area while taking a walk.
The Sheriff's Dept. later stated that the coroner's office ruled the death a suicide.
