City to Hold 'Heart of Memphis' Celebration at Tiger Lane

Memphis organizations are working hard to counteract the negativity associated with the upcoming KKK rally. Instead, they will showcase the best of Memphis.
MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis organizations are working hard to counteract the negativity associated with the upcoming KKK rally. Instead, they will showcase the best of Memphis.

Tiger Lane is already shining bright with blue and green, which are the colors of the 'Heart of Memphis' celebration.

The all day family-friendly festival will be held Saturday, March 30, the same day as the Ku Klux Klan rally at the Shelby County Courthouse.

The free celebration runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Tiger Lane. It will feature live music, a food truck rally, farmers market, classic cars, an Easter egg roll, games, story-telling, and much more. The Grizz and Elvis will also be there to join in the fun.
