MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - The owners of a Hickory Hill night club are taking legal action against a group that threw a sex party inside the club. The video from that party has gone viral.

Club Elements says they had no idea what was going on behind their blacked out windows, but the private party became very public when the video hit the internet.

Terrell Foster works next door to the club, he says, "I've seen the video, it's pornographic I have to say."

Carla Sledge lives in Hickory Hill and is offended by the images, "I heard teens in there were having sex and exposing themselves."

Much like the graphic video, Club Elements' owners says they were exploited. Club Elements denies any involvement in the sex party.

In a statement, the ownership group, Goldfinger LLC says, "We, like the public, are very disturbed by what transpired... This is not the type of behavior we condone." They continue, "We want to hold the organizers and participants responsible for their deplorable conduct."

They're seeking legal action against Team Taboo, the group that rented their space.

Terrell says, "I'm really not surprised, I hope they take care of this because we don't need this." However, not everyone thinks Club Elements should be off the hook. Kutanya Taylor says, "Somebody over that facility should have been overseeing what was going on instead of just giving keys to the people having the party."

Another party Team Taboo was scheduled to host this past weekend, at a different Memphis club, was cancelled by club owners after the video at Elements hit the web.

Give me a break. The owners new all about it, probably happens on a regular basis. That's just the way they are.

Well what KIND of "teens"? 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 OR / 18, 19? This business of people, especially women, being "offended" has brought us a harvest of reduced liberty and nanny-state fascism.
