Community Remembers Holly Bobo on Christmas

MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - For the family of Holly Bobo this has certainly been a difficult Christmas. The young Darden woman was taken from her home in April, 2011 and hasn't been seen since. On Christmas morning the community came together to support the family and pray for Holly's safe return.

Sounds of the season filled Corinth Baptist Church in Darden Christmas morning, but a cloud of sadness also covered the congregation. The pink ribbons an indication a piece of this community is missing.

"It's difficult, I wish she was home. We very much miss her," said Bobo’s cousin Lacey Ward.

Since the 21-year-old nursing student was taken from her Darden home in April her family, the community and investigators have searching for any clues that would bring her back home.

"You just got to keep the faith and know that God will bring her back home to us,” Ward told abc24.com.

Those here are rallying around the family, all praying for answers. Posters and reminders mark cars and buildings in the community. Everyone in this community is holding out hope that their efforts won't be in vain. All admit though the ordeal has been difficult.

“It's really hard to get through and it's hard for me, so I can't imagine how it is for her family," said Jill White.

The TBI is leading the investigation into Bobo's disappearance. At this point they don't have many clues in the case.
