Could Be Months Before Wounded Marine Can Return Home To Mid-South

It will be at least six months before a wounded marine will be able to move back home the the Mid-South.

Corporal Christian Brown of Munford will soon begin a six month medical evaluation process. After that he is expected to be cleared to return home.

Brown has been receiving treatment and therapy at the Walter Reed Medical Center in Maryland since he nearly lost his life in an IED explosion in Afghanistan in December of 2011.

He lost both legs, a finger, and was given a very slim chance of survival.

He is now walking on prosthetic legs.

His mom said he has been spending a lot of time fishing and is ready to come home.
