MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - The Memphis teenager accused of stabbing his principal to death appeared in court Wednesday morning.

A doctor says he needs more time for a mental evaluation on Eduardo Marmolejo, who pleaded not guilty to charges of murdering Memphis Junior Academy principal, Suzette York.

She was stabbed to death inside the school last August.

Marmolejo is due back in court June 26th.
