MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A man has been arrested after getting drunk and breaking into the home of a woman he knows and sexually assaulting her.
An affidavit says 34-year-old Edward Sincer was arrested on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, for the incident that happened a few days earlier on October 20.
The document says the victim came home and found Sincer drunk and lying on her couch in just his underwear. The victim told police Sincer pinned her against the wall and made sexual advances at her and was grinding on her.
The victim then said Sincer let her go briefly, but grabbed her from behind and stuck his hand down her pants and grabbed her buttocks.
The victim then called Sincer's brother, who came to the house and removed Sincer.
When Sincer was arrested, he waived his right to an attorney and told police he went to the victim's house while he was drunk, but that he does not remember how he got inside or what happened while he was there.
