ARLINGTON, TN (abc24.com) - A man's mishap using dry ice led to a bomb scare at a Kroger grocery store in Arlington Thursday afternoon.

According to a spokesperson with the Shelby County Sheriff's office, the Kroger on Highway 70 and Airline Road was evacuated as a precaution after a small explosion occurred in the parking lot.

The explosion was the result of a man from a nearby business using dry ice to cool a bottled drink, then leaving it in the parking lot while he went in the store.

Nobody was injured, and the store has since reopened.
