Entire Soulsville Class of 2013 College Bound

For the second year in a row, the entire graduating class at Soulsville Charter School is college bound.
MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Every child, every day, college bound. That has been the goal of the Soulsville Charter School since it opened in 2005.

For the second year in a row, the entire class of 2013 is college bound. Every senior has been accepted to a four-year college or university.

"It really just lifted a burden off my shoulders," said student Stephani Brownlee. "I'm going to college, something a lot of people in my family can't say they've done."

"I'm extremely blessed and extremely fortunate to have this opportunity, but I am also proud to say I worked hard," said student Adrian Williams.

The letters have come from Rhodes, UT Knoxville, Brown University and Wake Forest, just to name a few. Several students also received substantial scholarships.
