Former Election Commissioner Not Charged in Deadly Crash

No criminal charges will be filed in a deadly crash involving a Tennessee state official and former Shelby County election commissioner.
MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com) - No criminal charges will be filed in a deadly crash involving a Tennessee state official and former Shelby County election commissioner.

8-year-old Quindarious McGhay was killed in the three-car accident on I-40 in December.

Bill Giannini, the former head of the Shelby County Election Commission and currently an Assistant Commissioner in the Tennessee Department of Commerce, was the driver of one of the vehicles involved.

The Shelby County District Attorney reviewed the Tennessee Highway Patrol's investigation of the crash. According to the DA, there isn't enough evidence to charge anyone.
