BARTLETT, TN (abc24.com) - Bartlett Police arrested a woman accused of beating a pregnant woman she cut off at the gas pumps.

The incident occurred just before 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 17 at the Sam's Club on Highway 64.

According to investigators, the pregnant woman was in line at the gas pumps when the suspect, later identified as Kendra Miller, cut in front of her. The victim said she got out of her car, tapped on Miller's window and asked, "Ma'am, did you not see me waiting?" Miller started cursing at the victim and pushed her face, so she went back to her vehicle and pulled around to another pump.

As the victim was getting out her Sam's card and credit card, Miller came up to her car and punched the victim in the face through the open window. As she tried to get out of the car, Miller kept hitting the victim and slamming her car door. Once the victim was able to get out of the car, she was knocked to the ground by Miller, who then sat on top of her and repeatedly slammed her head into the curb and punched her. Miller drove away before police arrived.

Witnesses confirmed what had happened with responding officers, and provided Miller's license plate number. Police tracked down Kendra Miller on Feb. 19 and placed her under arrest.
