Gov. Haslam's Brother Denies Wrongdoing in FBI Probe

Governor Bill Haslam's brother says he's done nothing wrong and won't give up his job at the family business.
NASHVILLE, TN (abc24.com) - Governor Bill Haslam's brother says he's done nothing wrong and won't give up his job at the family business. A defiant Jimmy Haslam told reporters the FBI is barking up the wrong tree, and he's not going anywhere.

Haslam is CEO of Pilot Flying J and owner of the Cleveland Browns. The feds raided the Knoxville headquarters earlier this week, closing the corporate offices. No retail stores were shut down.

The FBI says they have secretly recorded conversations that prove Jimmy Haslam knew his sales staff intentionally cut rebates to diesel customers, but Haslam denies that.

No charges have been filed in the case.

Governor Haslam has financial stock in the company but isn't involved in the day to day operations. He has not been accused of any wrongdoing.
