Fans lined up for hours for tickets to the next home playoff game after a weekend of grit and grind in Memphis.
MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Fans lined up for hours for tickets to the next home playoff game after a weekend of grit and grind in Memphis. Playoff game six tickets went on sale at 12:00pm Monday, and fans began lining up at 7:00am.

In the Bluff City, Grizzlies fans are not difficult to spot. From patio lights to pets, nearly everywhere the blue and gold are shining bright. Jessica Miller proclaims she is the biggest Grizzlies fan, "I come to all the games," she says, "I go crazy and they give us something to believe in."

Miller instantly hung up her phone when she was given the chance to talk about her beloved team. "Anybody else can wait," she says, "The Grizzlies are more important."

They're so important, Miller stood in line for more than an hour to get her playoff seats, surrounded by Grizz nation, each with his or her own superstition. Miller's superstition is location, "I try to always sit in the sections behind the basket." Derek Maclin has a yellow Grizzlies bracelet on his wrist, "Since I've been wearing this they've been winning; I'm going keep it on my arm all week."

Rachel Helm's superstition is during free throws, "I put one finger up or two." However, she hopes on Tuesday the Grizzlies won't need her help, "I don't feel superstitious, I just know that we're going to beat the Clippers."

Tuesday's game is at 9:30pm in Los Angeles. There are five official watch parties in Memphis: Blind Bear Speakeasy, Hooters Downtown, Bayou Bar + Grill, Skimo's, and Buffalo Wild Wings at Hacks Cross.

Game six is Friday in Memphis.
