Grizzlies Fans Pack FedExForum for Game 3 in Playoff Series

The grind house was rocking for game three of the Grizzlies NBA playoff series.
MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - "The Grizzlies are down but the city's not down. Grit and grind all the way," said Grizzlies fan Kevin Martin.

Grizzlies fans packed downtown Memphis for a bite to eat before game 3 of the NBA Playoffs. The Grizz were down 0-2 to the 'LA Floppers', and that's what fans say is the problem - the Clippers flopping and the referees are buying their act.

"It's been the refs. It's been the refs. I think in the first game they kinda got overwhelmed by the refs and the calls," said Grizzlies fan Derrick Diggs.

"Referees, that's absolutely the difference maker. They go out and play hard every night and got a couple of bad calls and it don't go their way, you might say free throws, maybe a bit of Achilles tendon on them, but referees. Come on now, let's play with the Grizzlies a little bit," said owner of Kooky Canuck, Shawn Danko.

Grizzlies fan Ralph Morgan has a game plan for the big game.

"Well we gotta play better. We can do it. We gotta get in their head to cause them to lose some confidence and make some shots and play some defense," he said.

The Clippers have given the Grizzlies trouble all season. With only one win in six tries, you'd think fans would be worried, but they say they are ready to grit and grind.

"We are Grizz Nation. We support them all the time," said Danko.

The support paid off, with the Grizzlies taking the 94-82 win in game 3. Game 4 is at FedExForum on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
