Group Calls for Changes at MPD

Fed up with Memphis Police officers being arrested, a Mid-South faith-based group is going on the offensive, pushing MPD to implement seven suggestions.

The police can't handle the crime in Memphis any more ,you need the national guard with shoot to kill orders to clean up that mess there.

When the requirements for becoming a police officer are as dumbed-down as they are in Memphis, what do you expect? I'm surprised that they are not openly hiring convicted felons. You get what you pay for.
