Heated Words from Shelby Co. Commissioner Terry Roland

Things got a little crazy down at the Shelby County Commission Wednesday morning. It all comes after a confrontation between Commissioners Terry Roland and Chris Thomas at a meeting of Collierville Republicans the night before when Roland actually told Thomas, "I'm gonna knock you out of that chair."

This trend should continue throughout the election season. Sensible, moderate Republicans (if there really are any) are fighting the far-right religious idiocy wing of the party. Then you have the corporate-owned butt kisser Republicans fighting against the will of the people. Fascinating. Democrats have the people on their side. Republicans have big oil, big pharma, and any other corporation with the cash to purchase a Republican congress member.
