Help Needed In Identifying Burglary Suspect

On Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at approximately 3:30 p.m., officers responded to a Burglary call in the 600 block of Brister.
MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com) - On Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at approximately 3:30 p.m., officers responded to a Burglary call in the 600 block of Brister.

Officers arrived on the scene and located a 19-year-old female who was in the process of moving into her home in the University of Memphis area.

The female left the residence and returned a few hours later discovering her home had been burglarized.

The victim’s purse was taken in the burglary. A short time later, the victim discovered someone had made fraudulent purchases using her debit card.

The suspect is described as a female Black wearing a dark-colored hoodie.

The suspect was captured on video surveillance.

This investigation is ongoing.
