Holy Rosary Church Prepares Food for Oklahoma Victims

More than 100 volunteers at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in east Memphis prepped 10,000 meals to send to Oklahoma.
MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - To show their support for Oklahoma storm victims, more than 100 volunteers at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in east Memphis prepped 10,000 meals to send to Oklahoma. The meals will be sent to help those people devastated by last week's storms.

"It's a small thing but it's a big thing, people who are in these areas dispensing food really appreciate this because they can do it on an as-need basis," said event organizer David Stoso. "They're vitamin-enriched meals and they can give them to the people as needed for a period of time."

Holy Rosary has delivered meals to storm victims before, doing the exact same thing for those affected by Hurricane Isaac and Superstorm Sandy.
