Sunday, June 30th

The Great American Family Picnic and Fireworks at Bellevue Baptist Church soccer field located on 2000 Appling Road will be celebrating Independence Day by inviting families to come out for food, fun and fireworks! families are encouraged to pack their own foods or buy food from Bellevue’s vendors. The gathering starts at 4 p.m. and the fireworks show begins at 9 p.m.

Wednesday, July 3rd

Bartlett Fireworks Extravaganza. This celebration will be held at Bobby K. Flaherty Municipal Center at Highway 79 and Appling Road from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. not only will the show display fireworks but will include family activities, a car show, live music and food vendors.

Collierville Independence Day Celebration kicks off their festivities from 6 until 9:30 p.m. at H.W. Cox Park on 350 W. Powell Road. Families will see entertainment, and enjoy games and food.

Flag City Freedom Celebration in Millington at Navy Lake will celebrate its annual gathering with food and fireworks as well as showcase live performances by the Navy Band. This event begins at 5 p.m. and cost $5 per vehicle.

Southaven Patriotic Parade. Southaven’s City Hall will have a short patriotic ceremony followed by a parade lineup around the lake in Jim Saucier Park on 8710 Northwest Drive. This ceremony begins at 10 a.m.

Hernando Fireworks Display. The City of Hernando will host its first fireworks show thanks to local sponsors. The celebration is held at Hernando Civic Center ball fields on 3800 Robertson Gin Road. Families can gather at 7:45 p.m. and watch the fireworks show at 9 p.m.

Thursday July 4th

Fireworks in the Park at Horn Lake’s Latimer Lakes Park on 5633 Tulane Road will have festivities and fireworks beginning at 6 p.m.

Germantown Fireworks Extravaganza includes food, fireworks and music at Germantown Municipal Park on 1900 S. Germantown Road. Fun starts at 5 p.m. and fireworks will begin at 9:10 p.m.

Mud Island Independence Day Celebration. Families can head down to Mud Island for a day of food, rides, games, live music and fireworks. The fireworks are scheduled to start at sundown.

Independence Day in Olive Branch will celebrate its annual “Celebrate Your Independence” event at Olive Branch City Park on 8267 Goodman Road. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy food, games and fun. Event begins at 5 p.m. followed by fireworks at 9 p.m.

Redbirds Home Game will have a game beginning at 6:05 p.m. followed by a fireworks show.

Southaven July 4th Celebration. This year’s celebration will be held at Snowden Grove Park on 6275 Snowden Lane. Families can enjoy live music and a fireworks display with fun starting at 7 p.m. and fireworks show around 9 p.m.

Fireworks on the Farm will take place at Cedar Hills Farm on 8 Love Road in Hernando, MS. Kids can play on the playground, pet animals in the petting zoo, ride a pony and take a hayride around the park. Live music will showcase to the families before the fireworks display at 9:15 p.m. Admission is free but parking is a minimum donation cost of $15 to help raise funds for the Palmer Home for Children. Parking cost also varies per vehicle.
