Inmate Indicted for July 2011 Murder

MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A Memphis man has been indicted for a murder that happened nearly a year ago.

40-year-old Ronald Honaker, who also goes by Ronnie Jones, is charged in the death of Bobby Hughes.

Hughes was found dead last July in northwest Shelby County. A utility worker noticed an odor, and found Hughes' body stuffed in a wooden trunk near a creek off of Walsh Road.

Honaker was in custody just weeks after the killing on unrelated charges.
