Well, we wouldn't want Greg Davis standing in line at a food pantry, now would we! After all, he has a high priced attorney to pay! The Board of Alderman have been "having his back" for way too long. Hopefully, at their meeting this week, they will step up to the plate. Whenever an employer garnishes the wages of an employee, that employee usually doesn't have a high priced attorney stopping it. The creditor most always gets his money. What about the people of Southaven? When do they get their money back? This man has had more than enough time to pay back the $70,000 balance that he legally owes. Obviously, the state auditor agrees. I only hope that the people who contributed to his "fund" are now kicking themselves in the rear! I can't wait until election time...that unemployment line is getting longer!

The utility stipend is not salary. If he'd had any pride, he would have resigned long ago. His presence is clearly harming the city. Typical selfish gay guy. (take that, Jeff)

Fascism is alive and well in Southaven. It can be expected since Southaven shares the same air and water as Memphis/Shelby County. Southaven residents are just a little bit more stupid than Memphians – to elect a dictator that can’t be removed. You get what you pay for Southaven.

I don't understand why he can ask a judge to stop a garnishment when no one else can. I'm tired of people in power getting away with everything that is why the children of today think that it is okay to cheat, steal and bully to get what they wont. At one time I thought he was a good mayor but with everything that has come out I guess he fooled everyone.

NO, he is EXACTLY a conservative, a neo-conservative. Liars, crooks, and shysters, the lot of them. Ayn Rand following snake oil salesmen peddling supply-side economic policy to a gullible, uneducated electorate. The rational "Conservatives" of the Barry Goldwater type do not exist anymore.

Memphis City Council members want more red light cameras in the city as soon as possible. They say it has nothing to do with helping the city get money, possibly as much as $29 million. But a lot of you say, of course it is.
