Liquor Stores Fear Failing Business if Tennessee Wine Bill Passes

Many liquor store owners in Tennessee went into the business because they knew they had an exclusive market. Now many fear their businesses won't survive if wine is offered in grocery stores.

...or we could subsidize the grocery store owners with taxpayer money in exchange for their votes. It worked for GM, although they still owe 27 billion dollars. But who's counting?

Tennessee has some really antiquated liqour laws. OPen it up to grocery stores, wine and liquor stores, everyone. Let the wine stores sell beer, mixers, cups, bottle openers and everything else associated with the 21st century world of marketing. Get caught up with the rest of the world...

I'd bet that half the owners whining about grocery store sales are also the ones screaming about "socialism" every time Obama does anything. Well, boys, welcome to capitalism! You compete by competitive pricing, marketing, product selection, convenience, and customer service.
