MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP, abc24.com) - Authorities say a Memphis police officer has been charged with assaulting a female juvenile in a Collierville parking lot.
Memphis police said 45-year-old Officer Ozell Toles was arrested Wednesday on a simple assault charge for an altercation that took place Sept. 9.
Collierville city spokesman Mark Heuberger said Toles was off duty at the time of the alleged assault.
