MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com) - Madison County deputies are investigating vandalism at a Jackson church.

Deputies were called to the Lebanon Methodist Church Sunday morning.

They say when church-goers went to services, they found several crosses hung upside down and 666 was written in the bible on the church altar.

They say the vandals also carved 666 and the words "smoke meth and hail Satan" into the altar.

Deputies say nothing was missing from the church.

Investigators believe this may be related to other cases of church vandalism in the county.
