Man Wanted for Passing Bad Checks in Bartlett, Cordova

MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A case of fraud in Tipton County has led to bad checks all over Bartlett and Cordova. Now authorities hope surveillance photos will help catch the suspect.

The suspect, described as a black male, about 5'10", medium build, and seen wearing some type of ID badge in one of the photos, passed fraudulent checks at Wal-Mart stores in Bartlett and Cordova, and a Walgreen's and Barnes & Noble in the Wolfchase area. Investigators with the Tipton County Sheriff's Office say the suspect has passed bad checks worth thousands of dollars.

The suspect is believed to be driving a 2000's model black Dodge Ram truck.
