Mareco Bell's Case Headed To Grand Jury

The case of the man accused of stealing cancer patients’ identities is headed to the grand jury.
MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com) - The case of the man accused of stealing cancer patients’ identities is headed to the grand jury.

Mareco Bell waived his preliminary hearing today in court.

Investigators say he stole the identity of ten cancer patients.

Cops say when they searched his Cordova home they found fake driver's licenses and medical documents.

Officers say they also found fake tax returns and debit cards in the names of more than 500 other victims.

Bell charged identity theft and selling stolen identities.

He's being held without bond.
