It's easy to blame the shelter, but the real problem stems from the irresponsible fools in this city. Anyone want a dog? How about another pitbull? At some point it became as cool to own a neglected pitbull as it is to wear your pants around your thighs. At some point, the people of this city are going to have to be responsible for their own mistakes/actions and stop expecting "the Man" to fix everything.

This is so ridiculous, to say that it can't be fixed overnight....If the animals are being mistreated, it can be fixed overnight by firing the sorry bastards that are abusing them and hiring people that actually care about the animals. The manager must not have control over their employees or just doesn't care and should be the first to go home with their last check in hand.

Is it possible to move the two year old cameras from the old shelter to the new. It seems like a small job for an electrician plus the cost would be low. Two year old cameras are like new. Time to think out of the box. Its seems the shelter is a political quagmire.
