Memphis is a joke, taking in more than they can handle. Memphis is a mess now but let's grab more land people and tax base so we can drive them into the sewers with the rest of the city. Way to go Memphis, you voter these A holes in now live and learn. Vote for change while you still have a vote.

The heavy-handed power of annexation has been way overused in this area. It just doesn't help anything. Politicians are card-carrying liars.

I do not understand the logic of taking more than you can handle to handle the little that you have already shown yourself to be incapable of handling. If my comment sounds ridiculous, it is only because I see the mayor's comments about taking care of Memphis in the same way.
